•  Availbility of vehicles is limited, so there is no guarantee of receiving a vehicle.  
• Applications are good for one year.  
• Preference is given to applicants with children in the home  or those needing transportation to get to a job. 
• The cars are usually old with many miles, but will pass inspection.  
• An applicant will be offered a car when one is available, and they can choose to buy it or not. 

1. No violence charges in previous 5 years.
2. No more than 1 financial judgement against you in the previous 5 years. 
3.  Live in Warren, Lincoln, Franklin, Montgomery, or St. Charles County
4. Demonstrate significant need.
5.  Submit an online application.
6.  Have a valid driver's license. 
7.  If possible, submit a sponsor's referral letter from a staff person at your church or another organization  that you are working with for support, such as a caseworker or community support person. 
8.  Submit proof of income:  2 most recent paystubs, if any.
9. Submit proof of financial assistance, if any.
10. Have ability to pay for vehicle sales tax, titling and liability insurance.  
11. Personal property tax must be paid. 
12. Attend a finance class and a car maintenance class before or at time of purchase. 

1. I understand that this is an application for assistance to purchase a vehicle. Wheels of Faith does not sell vehicle.  
2. I understand that there is no guarantee that I will be selected to purchase a vehicle through Wheels of Faith.
3. I understand that there is limited availability of vehicles. 
4. I understand that there is no warranty on the vehicle. The vehicle is purchased “as is” and will have  passed inspection.
5. I understand  that Wheels of Faith may require me to take classes prior to my taking ownership of a vehicle.
6. I understand that this application will stay active for 1 year. 
7. I have answered all questions truthfully.
8. I will submit the requested documents.

1. Include the name and address of the sponsoring organization, and name and contact  information of person providing the referral. 
2. Describe the sponsor's relationship with the applicant,  AND  why they believe the applicant is a good candidate for our program. 
3. Review the application with the applicant, especially the Requirements and Understandings listed above, and on the first and last pages of the application.
